Elegy
This tale is true, and mine,
Of spirit and passion and breaks,
It twists and turns,
Up, down, over, and under.
When loss occurs
It can be impossible to overcome
And it is not so much
That I am running
But that I am fading
The wind whispers lies
It carves curves into the crevices
And the northern kiss fills the holes
And my spirit fades while I am watched
To turn away
My celebrity status can
Be lost to the breaks and bones
Like the setting sun
Darkness, speckled with the remains
Of the spirit fighting
Is all that remains
I am the air
That always surrounds us,
The memory that will never be gone
It is in everything
Even when it is ignored or

I don't really post much here anymore--eclipse ruined the site for me as it did many others. Occasionally I visit for visual inspiration, so my favorites list will likely expand even though it's so difficult to navigate. Sorry to say, but don't expect updates here anymore.
My work is on the above websites. No originals there, unfortunately, but I don't necessarily get inspired for that much anymore either.
